Call ski Lebanon hotlineFor the insurance  You must Sign-In to My Account and supply us with the necessary information for the insured persons (full names, date of birth, nationality, passport number). Failure to do so does not guarantee your coverage.

For the visa  To remain on the safe side and irrespective of your nationality, we highly recommend you check with your local Lebanese Consulate or Embassy prior to boarding the plane. Please do so as soon as you decide to come in order to have enough time to prepare and submit all requested documents.

Once in Lebanon, please call us should you require assistance or have any question: +961.3.236623

1- What do I do with my booking voucher?

After making the full payment you will be able to print your voucher. You are simply requested to sign it and fax it back to us. This voucher acts as a receipt and final proof of booking, and must be kept with you during your stay. Your names and all requested services will be communicated to the hotel and other suppliers so you don't need to show your voucher unless you're asked to.

2- Who will pick me up at the airport and what are the transfer times?

We provide round trips between Beirut International Airport and your accommodation(s). Upon your arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport by holding the name of the person who made the booking. On your return date, the taxi will be present at your hotel early enough to secure your presence at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.

From Beirut to Mzaar resort is between an hour to an hour and a half depending on the traffic in and around Beirut. The Cedars is between two to two and a half-hours from Beirut.

If snow chains are required, we would appreciate your patience during installation by the driver. Under some very rare circumstances like extreme weather or icy roads at night, and for your own safety, our travel assistant might have to change your itinerary and book you rooms in Beirut at the very beginning or end of your stay.

3- And if I ordered a car rental, what happens?

The pick-up and drop-off locations will be at Beirut International Airport, unless you requested other locations. The terms and conditions of the car rental company apply.

4- Where do I pick up my ski or snowboard gear from?

Depending on your time of arrival and the location of your accommodation, you will either be stopped at the ski shop on your way to the resort, or the hotel/chalet will assist in obtaining your gear once you reach the resort.

In addition to the equipment, you will also be able to buy/hire additional accessories and clothing. Equipment will be returned at the end of your stay and will be checked for any missing or broken parts. In that case, SKILEB.com is in no way responsible and you will have to comply with the shop's rules and pay for the damaged gear.

5- Where do I pick up my ski passes from?

At Mzaar resort (previously known as Faraya Mzaar), the booking leader name is communicated in advance to the ski ticket counter located inside the parking of the Jonction Domain as indicated on the map. You simply have to identify yourself there each morning and obtain your passes. It would be useful to have your passports with you. Pre-paid ski passes are non-refundable once your trip commences, even during bad weather. Note: Ski passes booked by default cover all the ski slopes except the one accessing the InterContinental Mzaar hotel (more expensive), unless you explicitely asked for it when doing your booking.

As for the Cedars resort, you may pick up your passes from the counter located at the base of the ski slopes. Kindly note that no refunds are made once your trip commences.

6- How is my holiday insurance issued and what does it cover?

Reference to our Terms and Conditions of Booking, ski insurance is compulsory and is supplied by Mideast Assistance S.A.L. providing 24x7 support. It covers you for medical treatment, winter sports and if necessary casualty evacuation by air. Download the full policy details here: pdfVoyageur Plan (37k)

7- What procedures are in place if there is an accident on the slopes?

In Mzaar there is a rescue team supported by a doctor and an ambulance for emergency cases, always ready at the bottom of the slopes. If a serious accident occurs you will be taken down to the nearest hospital that is only 30 minutes away. At the Cedars an ambulance will take you down to Tripoli if there is a serious accident. In any case, make sure you or somebody on your behalf, informs our insurance Call Center on +961.4.548348. They are available 24x7.

8- How far is the accommodation from the slopes and what time do the lifts open?

In Mzaar, the furthest hotel proposed by our booking engine is only 5 minutes from the slopes, but you may rely on the shuttles provided by most accommodations to get you there and back from around 8:30 in the morning. Other hotels or chalets might be on the slopes or at a walking distance. The lifts open at 8:00 and they stop running at 3:30 which means you are back down for tea by 4:00PM. In the Cedars area, you are 15 minutes from the slopes in the village of Bcharreh or 5 minutes away from a hotel the Cedars village. This allows sights for non-skiers to be within walking distance. The lifts open at 8:00. If there is little demand they will close at 2:30 or 3:00PM, but this still gives you the best part of the afternoon to come back down and sightsee.

9- Can I book some ski lessons or après-ski excursions after my trip commences?
Sure. Have a look first at our ski lessons and après-ski excursions pages. If interested, you can call our reservations department anytime from 8h00 till 19h00 on +961.70.103222. You even don't have to pay for it directly because we will charge your credit card if you wish to keep your cash money. You can also consult childcare services page and book your nannies while in Lebanon.

10- Will we need a visa and what inoculations are required?
