Urban Faqra Hotel offers 4 stars amenities while preserving the cosy atmosphere of mountain hotels. It is ideally located facing Faqra roundabout and near the two renowned restaurants, Rikkyz and 1700. Far more than just another lodge added to Faqra’s repertoire, Urban is first and foremost a restaurant bar, which happens to have 8 cozy guest rooms should you get too lazy to make the winding drive back home.

Urban’s décor strikes a perfect balance between cozy and modern and warm and inviting. Cream colored leather chairs and neutral tones in the restaurant bar provide the right atmosphere so as not to overpower the grandeur of the view outside. Rustic, whitewashed logs hover over duvet-covered beds. Bright turquoise throws and black lacquer skylines add a splash of color to an otherwise earthy and neutral palette.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

Like its surroundings, the culinary experience at Urban leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant bar offers a rich French/Savoyard menu complementing the cool weather beyond the wall-to-wall double glazed windows. Fondue, raclette, charcuterie, and cheeses dominate the earthy menu. Dinner guests come in anytime after their day on the slopes and usually linger will beyond the dessert course. The music varies throughout the night and after midnight, the restaurant takes on a feel of a cozy bar. Urban is the quintessential winter setting for a great meal, a warm atmosphere, and contrary to what its name so flirtatiously suggests, it promises to be a cozy retreat.
