Caving in Lebanon


Wade knee-deep in chilly water, getting yourself wet and dirty, while hiking, crawling, and sliding sideways through the Roueiss Cave in Akoura. Discover Lebanon’s rugged underground and mountain caverns as you explore its second biggest cave on a 2-hour tour. This cave is Lebanon’s second biggest cave…It’s around 6 kilometers long! Also as part of your day of fun, enjoy a Lebanese lunch and a visit to the Benteal Reserve which is the smallest and oldest reserve, extremely rich in a diverse selection of plants- it has more than 332 plant species, 60 of them being medicinal plants.

You’ll be exposed to Lebanon’s underground environment in hopes that you will leave with an understanding of how it is an essential and vital part of our entire surrounding. Enter into a completely new world, underground, and experience the delicateness of Lebanon’s cavernous aspect of nature.

Price includes: Transfers, guide, equipment, entrance fees, insurance, lunch and taxes.

Notes: Reservation should be made at least 72 hours in advance. Wear an old pants, light warm clothes, hiking boots or running shoes, gloves. Bring with you additional clothes for the rest of the day, and of course don't forget your camera!
